Already tried fly fishing? Bass fishing might be the next step for you. We'll be wading in the sea, battling the wind and waves. The best time of year to do this is between June and October when the Bass are closer to the shore, within casting distance of the fly. We are governed by tide times and will usually start fishing 3 hours before high tide, meaning an early start or late finish. The rods and lines we'll use are lot heavier than with trout fishing, the flies are bigger and we use a line tray. This is not for the faint hearted. If its too windy and all else fails we can try the lures on light spinning rods. If the bass are there we will catch one. Come and try the extreme side of our sport where we battle the elements to catch this predator of the sea.
